I'm a photographer based in Detroit, Michigan. I started doing photography in 2014 as a teenager. At the time I enjoyed taking pictures, mostly on a whim, of the things I found interesting; like people, food, or architecture. In 2021 I started doing freelance portrait photography, primarily photographing couples and corporate events until 2024. While I enjoyed my time working with clients, nature and wildlife were always my favorite subjects to work with. I'm sure that draw is because as a kid and even well into my teens I spent a lot of my spare time outside with my siblings, friends, or even on my own. The outdoors was a place I eagerly looked forward to experiencing whether I was riding my bike, having family barbecue's, or playing games. I never grew out of loving being outdoors, except now I am admittedly more afraid of bugs. My appreciation has only grown for it since I spend even more time outdoors wandering, relaxing, journaling, reading, and taking photos of course.

I also come from a family of big animal lovers! I grew up with pet cats, dogs, even a squirrel, and a sugar glider too. So I have always felt really connected to little creatures. It genuinely brings me so much joy being at the right place at the right time to capture rare wildlife moments. With all of this being said, I created Cozy Artist Ave so that I could share my creativity but also my favorite nature and wildlife photography in a tangible way with fellow nature lovers and enthusiasts. I want my art to reach people who also seek comfort, connection, and creativity in all avenues of their everyday lives. I hope my nature stationery inspires and reminds you to seek the solace of the outdoors whenever you can. As well as inspire you to get creative in your journals, scrapbooks, and home.

I solely design, print, and package all products featured in my stationery shop; that I operate from home art studio. I am also currently documenting my journey as an artist, small business owner, and nature lover on TikTok, Youtube, and Instagram. I treat all my social media platforms as a safe place where creativity and a sense of coziness comes first. I look forward to growing this creative community one photo at a time with you.
